Apprenticeships

We couldn’t be prouder of two of our students - Jennifer and Abigail. They have just started an apprenticeship in cake making and floral decoration and brought the cakes they made in their first practical to share with the teachers and students at the SEP Happy School. They are part of our first cohort of students undertaking apprenticeships, which also include welding, masonry and tailoring.

At SEP, we value high educational achievement alongside practical skills that will help our graduates earn a living, helping to support their community while breaking the cycle of poverty. And with all of the huge weddings and funerals that happen in Ghana, we’re sure they’ll both have plenty of work once they finish their apprenticeships.
